aql currently operate unbundled mobile access on the "3" UK network and also via UK01 Mobile, with plans to bring two new networks on board during 2010.

Technology

aql operate a multi-site resilient IP and TDM network, acting as the handoff layer between the mobile networks and the end user. aql operate 4 points of presence within leeds :

• Leeds 1 : our primary city centre switching site
• Leeds 2 : a colocation site 1 mile north of leeds
• Leeds 3 : our second site (phase 2 construction quarter 2 2010)
• Leeds 4 : a city centre callcentre

Our Leeds-London connectivity is underpinned by three different fibre operators, linking Leeds with our London fibre ring and our major UK sites. aql interconnect with the "3" network via several multi-site links :

• 3 Manchester
