What is textback?
Textback is a way to receive incoming text messages via the sms2email.com gateway. You can register up to ten textback "keywords" on your sms2email account with associated actions.
When a text message is sent to our gateway number - 07766 40 41 42 - how it is processed depends on the first string in the message. If that string is one of your keywords, it is processed in the way you have specified in your customer account.
The available options are:
1 • Email the message to a specified address
2 • Store the message in our database
3 • Act as info responder - send a predefined message to the sender
4 • HTTP post - send message details to a script on your server
5 • Logo responder - send an operator logo to the message sender
6 • Actions 1 and 3
7 • Actions 3 and 4
