Video: How to set up aql VoIP on Nokia N80i and E-Series
This video demonstrates the entire setup process from start to finish.
To sign up:
- Text 'Nokia' to 64446
- Wait for the configuration message
- Open and save the settings in the message
- Set the access point and create the profile
Then, to test:
- Make a call to our speaking clock number
- Call another phone registered with aql VoIP
- Because the other phone has wireless LAN access, the call goes entirely over VoIP even though the mobile number is dialled
- See how the N80i's mobile number is shown as the caller ID
As a further test:
- We un-register the other phone so that it cannot receive VoIP calls
- Calling the number from the N80i leaves the N80i over aql VoIP, but aql converts the call to a normal mobile call so that the other phone can still be reached
