ITSPA knockout – aql attend the 2013 ITSPA Awards

aql were proud to be shortlisted for the Best VoIP Infrastructure award at the 2013 Internet Telephony Service Providers’ Association (ITSPA) Awards, but unfortunately left the Members Dining Room of the House of Commons in London, where the ceremony was held, empty handed.

The ITSPA Awards bring together the cream of the UK’s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) suppliers. The 2013 event was the 5th annual ceremony and was hosted by Dr Julian Huppert MP, Vice Chair of the Parliamentary Internet Communications and Technology Forum.

While aql missed out on an award on the night they did have the honour of sponsoring the Best Business ITSP (Corporate) category, in which Ciptex were selected as the winners and Timico were highly commended by the selection panel

Melissa Hendry, aql’s Operations Director who represented aql at the ceremony, had mixed emotions about the event:
“It’s fantastic to be here and to be considered for an award given the high standard of the VoIP services available on the market.

“Of course I’m disappointed that we missed out on the Best VoIP Infrastructure award, but on behalf of aql I’d like to congratulate all of the award winners and I’m confident that we’ll be back next year to add to the ITSPA awards we’ve won in the past.”
