aql’s VoIP excellence recognised by industry awards
aql has been shortlisted for two awards for its VoIP offering by leading internet industry bodies.
The nominations recognise aql’s underlying technical infrastructure, reliability of service and overall customer experience, as well as its ongoing investment in innovation.
aql has been in the VoIP space for 15 years and is the hidden enabler of IP voice services in the ADSL industry. With over 80 million numbers hosted, aql is one of the largest wholesale numbering operators in the UK – enabling communication for many of the world’s biggest organisations and brands.
The first shortlisting comes from the Internet Telephony Services Providers Association (ITSPA) at the 10th annual Best UK Internet VoIP Provider Awards. aql is recognised for ‘Best VoIP Infrastructure’ – the same category in which it was ‘highly commended’ in 2017.
The second comes from ISPA (the UK Internet Service Providers Association). aql is shortlisted for ‘Best VoIP’ at the 20th annual UK ISP Internet Industry Awards.
This dual recognition comes amid a program of work to more than double aql’s VoIP capacity to accommodate sustained growth while maintaining the high level of voice quality customers have come to expect.
ITSPA winners will be announced on the 24th May and ISPA on 12th July.
