About us

aql is a fast-paced, rapidly growing and award-winning wholesale telecommunications company based in Leeds city centre. We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP developer to join our Development team.

The role

You will be working on a wide variety of projects, both in-house and for customers. We have a diverse range of systems, platforms and projects, including SMS, VOIP, RESTful APIs, Monitoring platforms, Web interfaces, scripts and services.
You will be working for the most part on new developments, although we also have numerous legacy systems that are currently being rebuilt. There is plenty to challenge, and many opportunities to learn.
We are a close-knit team with our own dedicated Development room. There is a great atmosphere and coffee is always available!

We are an Ofcom regulated telecommunications operator providing wholesale integrated communications services ranging from mobile messaging, IP telephony, fibre and wireless leased lines, secure datacentre hosting to machine-to-machine (m2m) services for the growing demand of the Internet of things (IoT) marketplace.
