aql supports Leeds United’s ‘One Day for Toby’
Leeds United are raising £200,000 for local supporter Toby Nye, age four, to receive the treatment he needs to battle neuroblastoma – a rare form of cancer.
aql is proud to support the effort by providing a text-to-donate number free of charge to Leeds United. To donate £5 towards Toby’s treatment, text ‘TobyLUFC’ to 70660.
Players, backroom staff and office staff will donate a day’s salary on Friday 27th October, when they face off against Sheffield United at Elland Road. There’ll be lots of fundraising activities in the buildup to the game to give fans the chance to help out a young one of their own.
Leeds United and aql have a little-known shared history going back nearly a hundred years. LUFC was founded in Salem Chapel, Hunslet in 1919; the same building has been aql’s headquarters since 2009.
